Has our support become a bunch of hysterical little girls?
Crikey, didn't bother going last night, football in July is not on for me, the players aren't fully fit and half of them would have been more worried about getting injured than anything else. Can't believe the knicker wetting over what was nothing more than a glorified pre season friendly with a mid field and attack stuffed full of people who won't make our first X1. We've made some decent signings, we might finish in the top 8, we are not strong enough to win something like the Europa League. It's not the end of the world, have a bit of perspective and don't be such entitled, spoilt brats.

Some were grumbling about highly paid footballers always giving the ball away? I bet a few on here are absolutely furious about that.

Indeed Stewie. That sounds about right. I was not there but I am guessing the expectations were a tad high and a Bilic revolution was expected to be evident in his first game in charge? But many then saw the same old problems (e.g. lack of pace and movement) and some of the ineffective players from the Allardici regime :-)

As many have said, lets hope Bilic has tuned in quickly to the limitations of some of what he has been left with by big boned Sam.

Re: Has our support become a bunch of hysterical little girls?
Thursday night just showed us what we all know - and what bilic is now seeing himself in a match - people like Nolan Jarvis and o'brien are back-up players at best and a total liability if two or more are needed in first team
Sure he will be pushing owners for an upgrade
We are assembling a good first team - now need to make the reserves people on their way up not down

To be honest, the inference - almost exclusively from media and supporters who weren't there - that a few people moaning was directed at the manager is far worse than a few people moaning, because it's just a complete lie.

Not a single supporter 'turned' on bilic, and there was very little booing. There was, though, a shit load of grumbling about some of the performances of players on tens of thousands of pounds a week, who have performed poorly for an extended period of time. No great surprise and not particularly misplaced, unlike most of the passes those individuals play.

If everyone does not stop bickering I will "skweem , skweem and skweem!!!" :-)

Judging by the bickering on this thread I'd say yes.

Re: Has our support become a bunch of hysterical little girls?
it happened due the ball being passed back to the keeper in the last ten minutes instead of going forward with the ball

It was the passage of play not the manager or the players that was booed

But I guess that doesn't sell headlines

Nothing to see here

Which is your favourite pantomime to boo at?

Re: Has our support become a bunch of hysterical little girls?
This topic of booing, has absolutely been done to death on here, above all else it's boring. I've never booed at football, only at pantomines, but if some wally wants to boo I couldn't care less and certainly don't get upset about it, like some on here do.

Relax mentor. It seems it's you who wants everyone to think like you. You carry on booing a mid-july warm up match, I'll carry on finding it embarrassing.

Re: Has our support become a bunch of hysterical little girls?
I don't care. Football is an emotive game but I guess there are some people who want our support to act like robots. Good luck to you. There are also people on this site who don't want to read the wrong kind of opinion. Good luck to them too.

I thought the booing was aimed at Nolan..?
